Vayne by Zenilla94 Vayne by Zenilla94
I tried my hands on making something with more lines than usually, tell me what you think . Hopefully  the amount of lines don't make it too messy.  Think her mouth might be out of place and nose little bit too short. I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with it but im not sure what.. other that its too dark. Oh well.. This is still good for practise :)

EDIT: tried to fix her face (cheeks) and the position of her face cuz of criticism I was given. Think it helped a lot to fix this one a  bit.

A wonderful piece of art, the shadowing on her cheeks make them look slightly holow (which is not ad itself) but together with a rather small mouth it looks a bit like she's pouting :) The "more lines" style is pretty good for darker pictures like this one!

From your description, maybe "too dark" isn't a bad thing since dark/darkness are things I'd characterize Vayne with. But if you mean to say the dark saturation below the neck, it makes sense. Perhaps in an update the light from the moon could play a larger role that dictates what's brighter and what's darker overall.
And Idunno why, but I like the style you used for the leaves.

My own style have been since forever much lines and intensity with the contrast. I personally like it myself but as outsider people might find it too intense and dark.   Yah about the leaves I 1st made em more detailed but found out I didn't like it , so I ended using this wild/messy lining to make leaves.    This digital drawing might be most close to the style I do on paper. As I said I tried more new stuffs on this than just lining to see if I can do it  and will people dislike it or not.
